About

Jasvant Dosanjh professional headshot

Most IT problems are not technical problems. They are coordination problems, trust problems, or documentation gaps that eventually show up in the infrastructure. My job is to find those gaps, fix them, and build something replicable so the next team does not face the same situation.

Over 10 years across K-12 education, higher education, healthcare, gaming, and big tech, that approach has produced results that scale past my direct involvement. At the University of Washington, I rebuilt a clinical department's broken relationship with IT, eliminated $30,000 a year in redundant spending, and developed an onboarding framework later used to centralize four additional departments. The JAMF Pro system I designed for the College of Arts and Sciences became UW's university-wide macOS MDM standard. At Meta, I identified that 5,000 engineers had been locked out of IT support due to a Linux compatibility gap nobody had addressed, ported the solution myself, and watched the documentation get incorporated as a first-party vendor product within two weeks. At Tencent, I built a gaming studio's complete IT infrastructure from zero in five months, and the identity stack I designed was adopted by two additional studios across North America.

I build with the assumption that what I make will eventually be used beyond its original scope.

Outside of work, I play harmonium, tabla, and dholki. I am building an AI-powered Sikh library trained on 758 million words of multilingual manuscripts and classical literature spanning English, Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi, and Devanagari script. That project reflects the same instinct that drives the infrastructure work: something valuable should not stay locked away where only one person can access it. I am grounded in Sikh philosophy and active in community and interfaith leadership. I speak English and Punjabi fluently, with conversational Hindi and Urdu. I bring the same level of loyalty and resilience to my professional deployments as I do to supporting Manchester United—remaining committed through every challenge.

If you are working on an infrastructure or program challenge and want a second perspective, reach out.

"Jasvant really walks the walk as a professional dedicated to elite customer service. I often was a client of his and can attest that he never made me feel less than for being unable to overcome my IT challenges on my own (even when I might have deserved *some* judgement because the solution was simple). In a space that is often occupied by people that are unable to explain complexity or are dismissive, Jasvant has always valued being the complete opposite and it shows in everything he does. I am sad I don't get the pleasure of working with him now, and am glad for anyone who is lucky enough to benefit from his talents and smile from his "Live. Laugh. Love." email signature."

"There isn't an IT challenge Jasvant can't tackle! Every support ticket I submitted was handled with grace, efficiency, and a touch of humor. Working in the fundraising shop (a unit within the umbrella Jasvant served), our processes and programs can be unique compared to the rest of the college. Yet I always felt completely supported with my computer needs, and I trusted Jasvant to provide the latest advice on emerging trends (like whether to switch to New Outlook or wait while considering fundraising-specific integrations). Even when the issue was user error on my end, I never felt belittled or bothersome. Thank you, Jasvant, for being a true people-first leader in this space!"

"I had the pleasure of working with Jasvant in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Washington and can say without hesitation that he is both an exceptionally skilled IT professional and a genuinely wonderful colleague. His technical knowledge is deep and reliable, but what truly sets him apart is how approachable, patient, and generous he is with that expertise. Jasvant was helpful to me on numerous occasions and consistently went out of his way to support my team. He has a rare ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and calmly, which made a real difference in keeping work moving forward and reducing stress for those around him. Beyond his technical strengths, Jasvant brings kindness, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit to every interaction. He is the kind of colleague you trust, enjoy working with, and are grateful to have on your team. Any organization would be fortunate to work with him."
